I love Seattle weddings! The big city has so much to offer when it comes to creative photography. I had a great time exploring the city with Amy and Devin on their big day!
It all started at Hotel FIVE in Seattle. I loved this hotel. It was right up my alley with all the bright colors and funky decor!
The room was just as fun and colorful as the lobby!
Details… His ring wasn’t ready, so they improvised. I loved it!!
I loved how everyone was together getting ready
One last detail before the first look
Our first look
Off to the Sculpture Park
We decided to take a few group shots at the courthouse. I loved that these two police officers were up for a fun shot with us!
The ceremony and reception were held at the FareStart Restaurant in Seattle. The restaurant’s mission is something that is near and dear to both Amy and Devin’s heart- FareStart is a culinary job training and placement program for homeless and disadvantaged individuals. Over the past 20 years, FareStart has provided opportunities for nearly 6,000 people to transform their lives, while also serving over 5 million meals to disadvantaged men, women, and children.
I think their guest book has to be one of my all-time favorite ideas for sure! They had a friend take a Polaroid picture of all the guests as they arrived. Each guest put their picture in the guest book and wrote something special to the bride and groom. What a great memory of each guest!!
Time for the ceremony
The wedding party gathered upstairs to sign the marriage license afterwards
I held the door open for everyone once we were done and noticed that the bride and groom were staying. I held back and was able to capture this sweet intimate moment.
Time to dance, toast and cut the pie!
